PRESS: Lukoil supplies low sulfur fuel oil to UAE refinery
MOSCOW, Aug 9 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Lukoil sent low sulfur fuel oil from its Caspian fields to the refinery of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in the UAE, business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday citing the data of the analytical company Kpler.
“Emirati ADNOC has purchased a spot batch of CPC Blend crude for 861,000 barrels (about 110,000 tonnes) from Lukoil for its refinery in Ruwais.... This is a supply from the Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea, oil from which is shipped to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium,” the daily reported.
Since last year, Russian oil companies have been actively shipping oil and oil products to the UAE, including for blending and re-export, the newspaper reported.
